Mission Statement

A place to experience the depth and power of the gospel by providing a refuge to rest, to practice spiritual disciplines, and to learn.

Vision Statement

The spiritually exhausted will find rest. The spiritually drained will be filled. The spiritually hungry will be fed. They will all be reminded of how deeply loved they are by their Creator.

Core Values

Give God the Glory.

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31, ESV

Love your God. Love your neighbor.

“Jesus replied, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” – Matthew 22:37-40, NLT

Show no partiality.

“My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?” – James 2:1, NLT

Proclaim the gospel.

“He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” – Mark 16:15-16, NIV

Be a gardener.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” – 1 Corinthians 3:6, ESV

Dear Friend,

In 2023, I laid down for what I thought would be an ordinary Sunday nap. Instead, God gave me a dream so vivid I still recall its details. I saw a white building with a red roof. It was called The Grace Center. Inside, pastors laid down their burdens, believers rested in silence, and weary souls encountered the living God. It was not just a building. It was an altar. A sanctuary. A place where heaven kissed the earth.

A year later, I noticed a property for sale on my daily commute, a white house with a red roof, sitting on a spacious lot with room for gathering, hosting, and lodging. The dream had stepped into daylight and has become an ache that has only grown, reverberating through the last two years like a bell that will not be still. I sought counsel, I prayed, I pleaded with God to make clear whether this was His will or merely mine. And though I tried to dismiss it, to relegate it to the realm of what could be, the dream clung to me like a holy shadow.

At our Ashborne silent retreat this year, I saw again what happens when people are given sacred space: women laid their burdens at the cross, opened their Bibles, sat under the stars, and listened for God’s whisper. One told me:

“Literally, my life is different after this retreat. The Lord freed me of a lack of trust I’ve carried my entire life.”

Another wrote:
“Ashborne stirred a longing for Christ in me that I’ve never felt before. My whole family is changing. Please don’t ever stop.”

But 24 hours is not enough. Women were left aching for more, a place to return again and again. That is why we long to purchase the property and open The Grace Center.

The Grace Center will be more than walls and windows. It will be:

  • A year-round sanctuary where the weary are restored in God’s presence.

  • A training ground where disciples are equipped to strengthen their families and churches.

  • A place of stillness in a noisy world, where the Word of God can be heard afresh.

The cost before us is $485,000 for the building and grounds, but here’s the good news: we don’t need one person to give it all. God has allowed us to work together and rely on Him. So, we need friends, like you and me, to each do what we can. Maybe that’s $20, maybe $200, maybe $2,000. Every single gift is a brick in the foundation of the Grace Center. And when we build together, we will open these doors far sooner than we ever dreamed.

Your gift is not just a donation. It is worship. It is a sacred investment in the Kingdom, one that will ripple through pastors, families, congregations, and communities. Every life changed here will be part of your legacy.

Will you help us lay the foundation for a sanctuary where countless souls will find rest in His presence?

With deep gratitude and hope,
Megan Rawlings
